People will get old. So do men’s penises. Men’s penises grow old mainly reflect in the following four areas:
1. Change of penis appearance
A director, in Sexual Medicine Discipline in one of an American hospital, introduces that in the age of 40, the glans penis will gradually lose its amaranth. This is mainly due to the reduction of blood running. As androgen levels decline, the pubic hair of the penis will become increasingly rare, and gradually recover to pre-pubescent hairless state.
2. Insensitivity of penis
Many studies have shown that as time goes on, the sensitivity of the penis will reduce, which may affect the erection and delay orgasm.
3. Shrink of penis size
With increasing age, it’s a common phenomenon that men weights gain. In some cases, abdominal fat will bury the penis. The length and thickness of the penis will change a little. If a man from Europe or America in 30 years old, his length of penis is 15cm after erection. When he is 60 or 70 years old, the length of the penis may only be about 12cm. Many reasons lead to the penis shrink. For example, the deposition of fatty substances (plaque) in the small artery of penis will obstruct the blood flowing to tissues and organs. As we all know, blocking in the coronary arteries is similar process of atherosclerosis in a heart attack. Meanwhile, the inelastic protein, which is gradually deposit in spandex sheath, also leads to the relatively narrow space of dabbling blood when erection.
4. Bent of penis
If the accumulated scar is uneven, the penis may be getting more and more bent. This is known as Peyronie’s disease. This disease mainly is found in the middle-aged. It can cause pain during erection, sexual difficulties. So, the patient should take some treatment actively.
